How We Protect Your Personal Data

These are the core privacy principles that guide how nasa4d handles every piece of personal information entrusted to us by our members.

Minimal Data Collection

We collect only the personal data that is strictly necessary to operate your account, process transactions, comply with regulatory obligations, and provide customer support. We do not collect data speculatively or beyond what is required.

Secure Data Storage

All personal data stored by nasa4d is encrypted at rest and in transit using industry-standard 256-bit SSL/TLS protocols. Access to member data is restricted to authorised personnel on a strict need-to-know basis.

No Sale of Personal Data

nasa4d does not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party for their own marketing or commercial purposes. Your data belongs to you — we treat it accordingly.

Member Rights Respected

You have the right to access, correct, restrict processing of, and request deletion of your personal data at any time, subject to our legal and regulatory obligations. All rights requests are processed within the timelines set out in this Policy.

Controlled Third-Party Sharing

Where we engage third-party processors — such as Malaysian payment providers (Maybank, CIMB, Touch 'n Go, DuitNow) or KYC verification services — we require them to process data only for the specific purpose for which it was shared, under binding contractual obligations.

Defined Retention Periods

We do not retain personal data indefinitely. Retention periods are defined by the purpose of collection and applicable legal requirements. Once data is no longer necessary, it is securely deleted or anonymised in accordance with our internal data lifecycle procedures.

Data Rights You Hold as a nasa4d Member

As a member of nasa4d, you hold meaningful rights over your personal data. These rights are not conditional on your account status — they apply whether your account is active, dormant, or closed.

To exercise any of these rights, contact our Data Protection team via the support email address listed at the bottom of this Policy. We will respond to all valid rights requests within 30 days of receipt.

You have the right to request a copy of the personal data nasa4d holds about you. Upon a valid request, we will provide a summary of the categories of data held, the purposes for which it is processed, and details of any third parties with whom it has been shared. Requests are processed within 30 days. You may submit an access request by contacting our support team at the email address below.

If any personal data we hold about you is inaccurate or incomplete, you have the right to request that it be corrected. For basic account details such as your registered address or contact number, you may update these directly through your Account settings. For data that cannot be self-corrected (such as identity verification records), please contact our support team.

You may request the deletion of your personal data where it is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, or where you withdraw consent and no other legal basis applies. Please note that we may be required to retain certain data — such as transaction records and KYC documentation — for mandatory anti-money laundering and regulatory compliance periods, even after account closure. We will communicate clearly what can and cannot be deleted in response to your request.

In certain circumstances — for example, where you contest the accuracy of the data, or where processing is unlawful but you do not wish the data to be erased — you may request that we restrict processing. During a restriction period, we will continue to store the data but will not actively use it for any purpose beyond storage, unless you provide consent or there is a legal obligation to do so.

You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data for direct marketing purposes at any time. Where we process data based on legitimate interests, you may also object — in which case we will cease processing unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, or the processing is necessary for legal claims.

Where we process your personal data based on consent or contractual necessity, and that processing is carried out by automated means, you have the right to receive your data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format. You may also request that we transmit this data directly to another controller where technically feasible.
